The Three Banditas
I finally finished my entries into Yoda's book!
Yoda, I hope you like them.
"The three banditas were lead by the mysterious and dark-eyed master of pencil known as Orlando, always impeccably dressed.
Armed with intellect, beauty and art supplies, the banditas fiercely roamed the land and sea.
Together, they fought heroically to rid the world of monotony, with paint, pencil and lens in hand."

fabulous!!!
Thanks Lynne!
Those are amazing !!! Thank you dear Samantha ^^
I'm so flattered but is kind of sad I'll have to cut them, though because they're perfect u.u
I think we should start our band, then ;)))
I'm so happy you like them!
I was thinking that maybe for the safety of the book to not cut mine at the end, but digitally fake a cut... I am worried about layers of paint and such cracking off people's entries when cut. I don't know. But what I do know is that yes, we should start our vigilante band!
After seeing many of your pieces in person, I would agree it might be scary and fatal to cut some of them... this is beautiful! Too beautiful!
Thanks Emma! I'm glad you like them :)
wow!!!! these are amazing!!!
...Lady Orlando is the one at the top and your the one at the bottom, could I join your band and be the one in the middle?! I'll even plait my hair and everything! :D
...I have already decided that their is no way I will be able to cut up my book so am going to scan the original pictures print them and stick them in another book and then cut that one.
These are beautiful Samantha!! I love the idea of a "second edition" to our books.... Perhaps even...for who ever is up to it... we could make a small run of say 16??? and share with everyone in the group... just a thought. I just might do that in the end anyway...
hugs to you all...
I like the idea of the second edition too, it is a nice idea so there is no accidental "shredding" of someone's work, I could imagine I could be quite good at this form of debasement, and would be so disappointed in myself for a slip of the cutter...
Thanks everyone!
I love the idea of the second edition! I was thinking about how I just couldn't bear to cut up someone else's entry— and if the blade slipped I'd be heartbroken.
Now I know this is involved, but I wonder if there's a way where we could have a Flash site where we could rotate the pieces as though we were flipping them in the book if they were cut? Does this make sense? It would be a fun interactive site where you could "pull" the sections over the other sections to see someone's head on someone else's body, etc... My Flash is at a basic level, but I wonder...
wow... they're just AMAZING!!
The flash idea is fantastic. Maybe is going to be lots of work. I wish I could help but I have no skills on that field what so ever :/
Sadly Flash is not something I know how to use either, although, my geeky man did something for me years ago where I had a book with pages that turned, perhaps he could tell me how he did it.
Hmmm... I might be able to figure it out if I sat down and fiddled around with it— I remember something from an ActionScript class that might work.
Absolutely fabulous!
yes man confirms it would be the same principle as he did a few year ago, would just need 3 sections that turned. I might get him to make a mock up while I am at work tonight... could be persuaded I am sure.
hahaha
these are remarkable...paint tube bandoliers, striking fear in the hearts of the artless.
Also-how cool would that be to have a Flash site devoted to the exquisitie corpse?!
This group might be blazing a trail, the first ever digital interactive online exquisite corpse! that would be amazing
Thanks everyone!
I think we could really have something cool if we could make the site work. Perhaps there's an image of each of our books closed on a white background, then you could click on one book and it would open... Hmmm...
Was unable to convince man to do it before it went away for the week, but I am going to try this weekend.
this is so cool ... is there a website or something to find out more ??
