Jan's Moleskine

Here are my entries in Jan's Moly– I had a lot of fun with this one. The story is naturally inspired by my new home in Istanbul, and drawn with Winsor & Newton India ink and gold ink with a dip pen and brush. I wish I had better handwriting, I tried to make it look good but it's a little wonky.

I hope you like it Jan!

I don't think you need to outline the lily shapes, they are so Beardsley like, very, very exotic. Wonderful as only you can do.

Wow. These are amazing. I am so thrilled that these are in my book! I like it just as it is. Don't touch a thing! Thank you!!!

Sheeeet thats some nice inking. I would agree with Jan and Bencon on not inking the flowers, makes for a greater distinction between foreground and background. very nicely done!

Thanks everyone! I inked them. Yeah. I couldn't resist, and I kind of like it better this way, it works with the others. Hm. Oh well, it's done :D

I'm so glad you like it Jan!
