Whew...all done

Finally finished my book. It will be mailed off in the morning...

I had a very nice woman paint a portrait of me with the "totems" that she saw around me. These animal spirits are meant to guide and help us. Anyway, if you know your totems feel free to include yours... if you don't feel free to draw what you wish!!! :))

WHEW!!! that takes a load off my mind! I really am a bad speller and it wouldn't have surprised me in the least if there were some "typos" ;-D

the typography i laid out on the computer and then transferred the toner to my moly via acetone. Worked Great!!

Cre8tive Girl I look forward to seeing your totems! :)

lovely, transferring images and typography is something I have no idea how you all do it. I need to go find out.

Fantastic pages. Unfortunately I don't know my totems. I was wondering how you did the typos-ography too. I've not tried transfers either but have been meaning to.

very very nice

hiw does one go about finding what their totems are?

Lynne said...

I found a quiz for you... here on this link

thanks for the link!
it turns out im identified with the Seventh Totem, Pandora: The Spider....which intially was unsettling, as the spider was the only animal i was afraid of...phobic even...when i was younger.
Now i think its very appropriate...face your fears and all that

Hey Lynne thanks for the link!!! I actually took the quiz and the 6th totem , the tortoise, came up for me...the tortoise is actually one of the seven totems that showed up in my portrait
(dragonfly, horse, humming bird, crow, rabbit, coyote/wolf, & tortoise)
Very interesting....
Burger Raff apparently we are supposed to get along well ;-)

Yes thank Lynne. I came up as the Fifth totem Homid the monkey who is strongly associated with the colour veridian. I usually avoid veridian as I don't like it when it is overdone in paintings, but looking at it afresh now, I see there is veridian in my work! Obviously I can't escape it. I get on well with the owls and the tortises.

I came up as an owl.... :-) this is a fun theme, I look forward to doing my pages

Facing fears... yes I got a snake, wasn't too thrilled either, but I guess that is just how it is to be.

I noticed after I did the "quiz" that you can see other Totems that relate to you as well... ;-)
